Meet New Super Cooler PH-TC12DX from Phanteks

Phanteks decided to amaze the public by releasing a new high-performance cooler PH-TC12DX that is able to cope with practically any up-to-date CPU from Intel or AMD. The sales campaign has started from the USA market where the model goes at $55-$60; the price depends on the color version: coolers with black fan impellers and heatsinks go at $55, while models with red, blue or write components cost $60.



Phanteks PH-TC12DX features tower-like framework. Its construction consists of two heatsink blocks, four U-shape heat pipes that pierce those blocks, and two voluminous 120 mm fans which are located on both sides of aluminum heatsink blocks. The latter are designed with an unusual shape of impellers, known as Maelstrom Vortex Booster (MVB). This cooler is equipped with PWM controller that monitors and regulates fan rotational speed; thus, the speed might be adjusted to the minimal 600 RPM and to the maximal 1800 RPM.

Cooler Master Presents the Cooler Master Hyper H411R CPU Chilling Device for Space-Saving Systems

The Cooler Master vendor has introduced its latest Cooler Master Hyper H411R CPU cooler, compatible with processors, based on AMD Socket AM4/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2/FM2+/FM2/FM1, as well as Intel Socket LGA2066/LGA2011-3/LGA2011/LGA1151/LGA1150/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA1366/LGA775 platforms. The device is 136 mm high and weighs 358 g, which allows mounting it into space-saving systems, built on the microATX and Mini-ITX mother boards.



The Cooler Master Hyper H411R construction includes four 6 mm copper heat pipes, directly connected to the heat-dissipating processor cover, an aluminium heatsink, and a 92 mm fan, featuring the 600–2,000 rpm rotary speed and white LED backlighting. This cooler produces air flow of the 58 m3/h (34.1 CFM) capacity. The static pressure comes to 1.79 mm H2O, and the noise level doesn’t overcome 29.4 dBA.

During its existence the Fractal Design Company has already created quite a large number of externally similar cases. Unprepared in technical matters, the buyer will clearly find it difficult to understand which one will suit him. After all, the internal structure differs quite much, and it is reflected just by a pair of letters in each model name.


Today’s review is dedicated to the Define Mini C case. The basic concept of its design is minimalism. It got rid of the extra 5.25" compartments, bulky racks of 3.5" hard drives (as, in fact, few people use more than two such drives). The manufacturer tried to reduce external dimensions as much as possible without compromising compatibility with standard components. And, following modern concepts, they covered the power supply with a casing, thus dividing the internal space into two parts.
