The Official Presentation of AMD Naples Processors for the Enterprise Market Is to Take Place in the 2nd Quarter This Year

AMD continues to reveal secrets regarding its Zen-based novelties. This time we are speaking about chipsets for the enterprise market under the Naples code name.



The first of the Naples CPUs mentioned encompasses 8 CCX computing units (CPU Complex) with each of them possessing 4 cores. All in all, there are 32 cores, and 64 threads are processed simultaneously. The chipset includes an embedded DDR4 memory 8 channel controller and a module of 64 64 PCI-Express 3.0 lines. The max RAM capacity is 2 TB. On top of everything AMD Infinity Fabric allows to form dual-processor systems and, thus, double all aforecited rates.


The AMD Co. is going to retail Naples specialties at a reasonable price to provide competition for Xeon E5-2600 Intel products. However, AMD based systems will feature more advanced specs and higher productivity.


Naples CPUs by AMD are expected to be officially introduced in the second quarter of 2017.

Kingston Showcases New Enterprise-Class SSDNow E50

Kingston, an outstanding developer of various data storage solutions, has recently introduced a new series of solid-state drives intended for enterprise use. Entitled SSDNow E50, the products feature a standard 2.5-inch design and are available in three capacities: 100 GB, 240 GB and 480 GB correspondingly. The new-comer employs SATA III 6 Gb/sec interface and MLC NAND synchronous flash-memory.



Kingston SSDNow E50 takes LSI SandForce-SF2581 controller as the basis. It ensures rather high performance showings. With the purpose to guarantee a stable operation of the drives, to minimize data transfer errors and reduce the cell wear, the manufacturer furnished the models with DuraClass, DuraWrite, S.M.A.R.T., and RAISE technologies. As a result, Mean Time between Failures is estimated as 1.000.000 hours.

Scythe to Introduce Monochrome Pro and Monochrome Value CPU Coolers



Scythe, an outstanding developer of prime-quality hardware solutions, announces its newest elaborations: the Monochrome Pro and Monochrome Value CPU coolers. Both products are differentiated by truly small-sized dimensions and can be incorporated into the most compact PC cases. Standard Fireware (IEEE 1394) – metoda transmisji danych w formacie cyfrowym dla spójne szybki magistrali. W większości przypadków standard ten jest wykorzystywany do wymiany danych pomiędzy komputerem i sprzętem do nagrywania/odtwarzania obrazu i dźwięku.
