Qsan Unveils TrioNAS LX U300 Unifying Data Storages

Qsan, primarily known for various data storage solutions, has recently introduced unifying data storage models intended for SMB. Codenamed TrioNAS LX U300, the new-comers feature modular design with optimal expansion facilities and a balanced settings kit. This provides for a unifying access to the file storage via Ethernet or Fibre Channel networks; the latter support data storage by means of NFS, AFP, FTP, WebDAV, CIFS protocols, as well as block storage via Fibre Channel and iSCSI.



The TrioNAS LX U300 items are based on Intel Haswell platform with Intel Xeon E3-1200 v3 processor. The system comes with an integrated Intel HD Graphics P4600 and Intel C226 chipset. Biostar Announces Budget-Oriented H110MD PRO Mainboard

Biostar has replenished its PRO series of motherboards with a budget-friendly model – H110MD PRO. The greenhorn is based on Intel H110 chipset compatible with Intel Skylake Socket LGA 1151 CPUs. As far as this micro-ATX board is an entry-level solution, it offers just basic facilities, including 5-phase VRM, a pair of DIMM slots for DDR3L-1600 MHz modules (maximal capacity – 16 GB).

Meet New Series of 120-/140-mm SilentWings 3 Fans from Be Quiet!

Be Quiet! announces the upcoming release of a new series of fans, entitled SilentWings 3. The lineup will consist of 4x 120-mm & 4x 140-mm items. All greenhorns are based on fluid dynamic bearing, estimated for 300.000 hours of foolproof operation. The fans employ either 3-pin or 4-pin power connectors and might run at 12V voltage index.
