ASRock Introduces Affordable H110M-DS/Hyper Mainboard

ASRock enters the market with another budget-oriented micro-ATX mainboard – the H110M-DS/Hyper (the recommended price makes up $60). The greenhorn is designed on Intel H110 chipset as well as ASRock Hyper BCLK Engine. The latter realizes the overclocking of Intel Skylake CPUs (for Socket LGA1151) by means of BCLK alteration; therewith, all other key nodes operate off-the-shelf.



ASRock H100M-DS/Hyper employs 4+1-phase power subsystem. The PCB accommodates 2x DIMM slots for DDR4-2133 MHz RAM with the maximal volume of 32 GB. Storage subsystem is represented by four SATA III ports, whereas expansion facilities include one PCIe 3.0 x16 and one PCIe 2.0 x1 ports.


Audio subsystem is governed by Realtek ALC887 controller and three 3.5-mm sockets. In its turn, network facilities are backed by Realtek RTL8111GR controller. Connectivity options embrace one RJ-45 port, one DVI video port, two PS/2 ports, and four USB ports for peripherals (both v 2.0 and v 3.0).

Enermax Platimax D.F. PSUs Hit the Market

Enermax launches a couple of platinum power supply units, earlier unveiled at the CeBIT 2016. The Platimax D.F. model is available in two versions – 500 W & 600 W – which boast 80Plus Platinum certificate thanks to 93% efficiency index. They are able to operate within 100-240 V voltage range at 10 A input. Featuring 150x160x86 mm dimensions, both PSUs can fit in any PC case.



Enermax Platimax D.F. units are furnished with a single +12V rail, estimated for 492/600 W power. At the same time the output power of +3.3 V & +5 V rails makes up 103 W. The hardware base includes high-quality Japanese capacitors as well as low-voltage DC-DC converters.


Cooling is secured by a single 139-mm fan based on Twister Bearing; it is thought to operate up to 160 thousand hours. The fan supports Dust Free Rotation technology that enables reverse rotation during the first 10 seconds.

SilverStone Updates Its Inventory with Tundra TD02 and TD03 Liquid Coolers

SilverStone Technology, a generally known developer of the whole galaxy of hardware components, decided to resume with its Tundra liquid cooling solutions, by introducing two new products. Codenamed Tundra TD02 and Tundra TD03, these coolers were first showcased at CeBIT 2013 exhibition in March. Potential customers will be attracted by the absence of necessity for maintenance and refill, as well as by enhanced durability.



Both coolers have got in their framework disposition a waterblock with a copper base and an integrated pump, which are embraced by a nickel-plated aluminum case.
