SilverStone Heligon HE01 - a new super-cooler

The Taiwanese company introduced a bulky cooler SilverStone Heligon HE01, which is designed to cool down more or less all types of modern CPUs — from Intel LGA775 up to LGA2011 and from AMD AM2 to AMD AM3 + / FM2.



The construction does not weigh less than 1.1 kg, since in addition to two-part radiator (926 g) it is equipped with fan of 140x140x38 mm size. Linear dimensions of Heligon HE01 are 140 mm in width, 119 mm in length and 160 mm in height. Staples that hold the fan, take a few millimetres of space.


The thickness of a pair of «towers», joined by six nickel-plated copper heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm, is uneven. The intense air flow passes successively through a thin array of aluminium fins, and then through the fan, afterwards through a larger section of the radiator. Copper base with nickel cover is protected with a film from scratches.


The manufacturer claims that Heligon HE01 will cope with the withdrawal of 300 watts of heating power.

Meet Two Modifications of Lian Li PC-V359 Chassis

Lian Li Industrial Co., a well-known Taiwanese designer of state-of-the-art PC cases, is glad to announce the release of two new versions of PC-V359 chassis. The first differentiation between the modifications lies in the color scheme: one model uses black-and-red scheme ($199), whereas the other one – pure golden scheme ($219).



Both chassis are made of aluminum alloy. Their frontal panel boasts the availability of a small window, while the top panel is entirely transparent. The latter is fixed by means of four screws, unscrewing of which enables the removal of frontal and side panels. This done, the user receives free access towards internal layout.


Lian Li PC-V359 cases are compatible with micro-ATX motherboards. They are ready to accommodate four PCI expansion cards, a thin ODD, six 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives. AOC I2490VXQ & I2490PXQU are marked by the integration of Full HD screen resolution (1920x1080). The models offer 4 ms response time, 1000:1 static contrast index and 250 cd/m2 maximal brightness level. One of their key peculiarities is an ultimate color rendering as well as the coverage of 100% sRGB & 90% NTSC. The I/O panels accommodate a pair of built-in 2W speakers, HDMI, DP and D-Sub video ports.
