A 2-Fan Cooler GeForce GTX 1050 WINDFORCE 2G Graphics Card From GIGABYTE

The GIGABYTE company has officially introduced a new graphics card, named GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1050 WINDFORCE 2G (GV-N1050WF2-2GD). It possesses such peculiarities as refined PC-board design and a modified cooling system.



GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1050 WINDFORCE 2G is based on a 14 nm NVIDIA GP107-300 GPU, supporting 640 CUDA, 40 TMU and 32 ROP. This video card can operate in one of pre-set modes – “Gaming” or “OC”. Its frequency formula goes in accord with the benchmark of 1354 / 1455 MHz in the first case and 1379 / 1493 MHz in the second. At the same time 2 GB of GDDR5 memory work at the reference effective frequency of 7008 MHz.


The PC-board is improved due to the Ultra Durable VGA company concept and an enhanced 4+1-phase power subsystem construction with one 6-pin PCIe connector. AMD Launches a New Driver Package Catalyst 13.8 Beta2

AMD has launched a second version of driver package Catalyst 13.8 that is called to dramatically enhance the efficiency in some games. The soft is compatible with Windows 8/7/Vista OS (32-/64-bit), supporting AMD Radeon (5000/6000/7700/7800/7900 series) and AMD Mobility Radeon (5000M/6000M/7000M/8000M series) GPUs.



Users can expect the following improvements:

— the resolution of problems with the image quality in ‘Van Helsing’ on anti-aliasing activation via Catalyst Control Center;

— the minimization of frame pacing delays in ‘Sniper Elite’, ‘Watch Dogs’, ‘World of Warcraft’, and ‘Tomb Raider’;

Customers Are Welcome to Put to a Test New Low-Profile GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti Graphics Cards from Zotac

Recently the product range of the Zotac Co. has been replenished with two novelties – GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti graphics cards.



The names suggest that these video cards are of a low profile and represent the most affordable models of the Pascal generation. GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti are fully identic outwardly and feature the same PC-boards, as well as cooling systems with a pair of compact fans. The adapters are of 144.78 х 111.15 mm dimensions.


The lower-order card offers 2 GB of memory, 1,354/1,455 MHz frequency ratio for a core and 7,000 MHz frequency for memory. The higher-end device features 1,290/1,392 MHz and 7,000 MHz frequencies respectively. Memory is doubled. The auxiliary power is not required. When considering the interface set one can distinguish a DisplayPort, an HDMI and a DVI port.
