The middle-end lineup of HIS’ proprietary graphics cards has been refilled with a new small-sized model: the R9 270 iCooler Boost Clock 2GB GDDR5. It features 190x125x45 mm dimensions and maintains an etalon clock frequency template. Hence, its price won’t differ too much from the recommended one. The new-comer boasts a bright design with a blue PCB and light-blue fan blades. Despite the appurtenance to the middle-end segment, the card is able to demonstrate quite an appropriate performance.



As seen from the codename, HIS R9 270 iCooler Boost Clock 2GB GDDR5 is equipped with 2 GB of GDDR5 video memory. The latter employs 256-bit interface and runs at 1400 MHz (nominal)/5600 MHz (effective) frequency. The heart of the card is AMD Radeon R9 270 GPU (28 nm, Curacao Pro architecture) with 1280 stream processors, 80 TMUs, and 32 ROPs. Its basic clock frequency makes up 900 MHz, while on overclocking this index rises to 925 MHZ.

Procesor je ključna komponenta hardvera RAČUNALA, laptopa, mobilnog uređaja, virtualni stroj, network attached storage, kao i programabilni logički kontroler. On je odgovoran za učinkovitost cijelog sustava u cijelosti i za odnos između različitih komponenti posebno.

Efikasnost rada procesora u velikoj mjeri ovisi o normi proizvodnog procesa, mikroarhitekturi, takta jezgre, potrošnje energije i performansi računalnih jezgri. Na efikasnost rada prva dva parametra ne može utjecati, a to je da poboljšate rad ostatak je moguće, ako je skinuti driver za procesor i izvršiti fino podešavanje svake funkcije.

Danas, međutim, kao i prije mnogo godina, - borba za svojih potrošača vode dva giganta-proizvođač procesora: Intel i AMD. Ove dvije tvrtke redovito oduševiti potrošača različitim nivoima (novak, profesionalnoj razini, entuzijasta, nebo) snažnijim modelima sa više impresivna efikasnost rada. Unatoč pojavi novih tehnologija i uspješno uvođenje novih mogućnosti za optimalan rad procesora dovoljno postaviti sljedeće parametre (često kroz grafičko sučelje, na primjer, BIOS/UEFI BIOS-a):

  • učestalost sistemske sabirnice (CPU Clock). Za overclock procesora do određene razine performansi, možete automatski ili ručno podešavanje vrijednosti takta sistemske sabirnice;
  • napon kernel/jezgara procesora. Napon jezgre pri radu u nominalnom modu obično varira u rasponu od 1.5-1.75 V. Za provedbu ciljeva оверклокинга napon treba povećati (granica – do 1.85);
  • priručna memorija. Bilo koji moderni procesor je opremljen sa cache memorijom. Njen osnovni zadatak – držati se često koristi podatke i upute, bez odgode, razmjenjivati. Za optimizaciju rada cache ispunjavaju posebne drivere za cpu;
  • potrošnja energije. Gotovo sve najnovije verzije procesora opremljena mehanizmima za uštedu energije, kao i zaštitnim funkcijama. Prvi cilj bi se smanjila potrošnja energije pri različitim stupnjevima opterećenja za CPU, a drugi pozvani braniti čip od pregrijavanja pri povećanju napona/frekvencije isključivanjem blokova pri maksimalnom opterećenju ili jednostavno;
  • ispravljanje pogrešaka kroz nadogradnju grafičke ljuske - BIOS Update. Ova opcija uključuje prijenos softver mikrokod iz BIOS-a na cpu u slučaju otkrivanja grešaka u radu PROCESORA. Najčešće greške prepoznate od strane developera i kako bi ih uklonili objavljuju ažurirane firmware sučelja.
